Job Summary: The Order Fulfilment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing end-to-end order execution processes, including order processing, inventory allocation, picking/packing, shipping, and delivery coordination. This role ensures timely, accurate, and cost-effective order fulfilment while maintaining high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

1. Order Management & Execution

  • Coordinate with Planning (PC), Material Control (MC), Warehouse (WHS), and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order flow.
  • Monitor order status and proactively resolve delays or exceptions
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO principles and inventory allocation rules

2. Warehouse & Inventory Coordination

  • Oversee picking, packing, labeling, and shipping accuracy
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation
  • Monitor stock levels and support inventory optimization strategies
  • Ensure proper handling of special materials (e.g., hazardous or regulated goods if applicable)

3. Logistics & Transportation Coordination

  • Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers, 3PLs, and internal logistics teams
  • Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery performance (OTD)
  • Manage transportation exceptions and escalate issues when necessary
  • Optimize shipping methods to balance cost and service level

4. Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure SOP compliance across fulfilment operations
  • Support implementation of WMS, SAP, or other systems enhancements
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

5. Team Management

  • Supervise and train fulfilment team members
  • Assign daily tasks and monitor performance
  • Develop team capabilities and ensure cross-functional collaboration
  • Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement

6. Reporting & KPI Management

  • Track and report key KPIs such as:
  • On-Time Delivery
  • Order Accuracy
  • Inventory Accuracy
  • Order Cycle Time
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports
  • Provide data-driven insights to management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred, master’s degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in order fulfilment, warehouse operations, or logistics
  • Prior supervisory or team leader experience preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing or automotive industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes (order fulfilment, inventory, logistics)
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination ability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., shipping regulations, hazardous materials handling) is a plus

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, filing, and operating office equipment
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and carry light office materials (up to 10–15 lbs.), such as files or office supplies
  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports
  • Ability to attend meetings and interact with employees, clients, and vendors
  • May require occasional overtime or weekend support
  • Ability to work on-site and coordinate with cross-functional teams
