The Opportunity

This position in ADD Lake County Site Operations is a key position within the site finance team primarily responsible for leading the annual standard setting process as well as the planning, reporting and analysis of SCOP, Absorption, MUV and new product line financial start-up.

What You’ll Work On

  • Lead the annual standard setting process for Lake County Site manufactured parts.  This includes partnering with operating personnel, preparing the standard setting, managing due dates, coordinating cost rolls, cost change analysis and standard cost submission to division.

  • Responsible for all activities related to SCOP, Absorption, and MUV including weekly reports, monthly close, commentary and developing forecasts for rLBEs, and new product OEM.

  • Support the business by developing partnerships with site functions including Supply Chain, Operations, Site Quality and Engineering.

  • Initiate and implement process improvements across departments. Develop recommendations; Propose and implement solutions taking into account business considerations; Analyze and Interpret Data; and Support team objectives.

  • Lead Site Gross Margin Improvement Initiative.

  • Supervise rotating PDP associates and summer interns.

  • Coordinate group tasks and scheduling.

  • Maintains proper internal controls and compliance with Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in accounting / finance

  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting

  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with varying levels of management and cross-functionally

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills

  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of SAP

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus

The base pay for this position is

$85,300.00 – $170,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
