Role Summary:
The manufacturing engineering supervisor plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of maintenance, manufacturing engineering, and pump testing, facilitating efficient manufacturing operations across the plant. Participates in and maintains improvement projects to enhance safety, improves quality, reduce the cost of nonconformance, adopts lean principles and processes, and promotes customer satisfaction (internal and external).
Your Role:
The Engineering Supervisor for the Service and Solution (S&S) team is responsible for the supervision and control of engineering projects within the centrifugal pump aftermarket business. This includes repairs, "Repair to Upgrade" initiatives, and the design of aftermarket solutions. The Supervisor ensures high-quality, responsive engineering aligned with business needs by coordinating technical support in both pre-order and post-shipment phases for internal and external customers, and responsibilities include:
Lead and manage assigned engineering teams to achieve the annual operating plan while driving a culture of customer focus, ethics, and safety.
Manage multiple complex design projects simultaneously, ensuring designs follow established standards to maximize part re-use and minimize variants.
Employ rough-cut capacity planning and drive the effective usage of GTEC (Global Technical Engineering Center) teams to leverage flexible engineering capacity.
Oversee Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and manage test programs to validate custom designs and resolve performance issues.
Review repair jobs for “Repair to Upgrade” opportunities, providing technical motivations and recommendations to customers.
Partner with Sales, Operations, and Quality Assurance to provide customer-centric support and resolve product performance issues in the field.
Act as a change agent to drive the adoption of engineering best practices, continuous improvement tools, and workflow automation.
Meet cycle time and On-Time Delivery metrics for all customer support activities and project deliverables.
Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and technical quality of customer documentation and engineering analysis.
Maintain high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction through responsive feedback and issue resolution.
Leads test team, ensuring customer requirements are met through testing process, including curve efficiencies.
Oversees maintenance and facilities. Responsible for all plant maintenance/repair/replacement. Assures efficient performance of factory operations while minimizing costs. Coordinates outside contractors and vendors.
Leads manufacturing engineering team, working with other department managers and supervisors to ensure safety, quality, and productivity KPI’s are met.
Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines, including EPA and OSHA requirements.
Launches NPI programs successfully, including machining capabilities and capacity, assembly processes, manufacturing processing, cost estimating, layout, and SOP’s. Coordinates with key stakeholders for material planning and procurement.
Grows organizational capability through goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being.
Successfully drive multiple competing priorities and tasks concurrently.
Communicates effectively with the full range of internal stakeholders—from associates to leadership— and ensures that programs, processes and initiatives within the business unit or function are communicated in a clear and effective manner. Capable of quickly establishing credibility, influencing others at all levels.

Your Profile:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (Required).
5 to 10 years of engineering management experience in a manufacturing or service environment, with specific expertise in centrifugal pump applications, types, and hydraulic fundamentals.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply FEA and other design verification methods; basic fluency in engineering systems.
Proven history of managing multi-discipline project teams in a matrixed, international environment.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills for composing concise reports and delivering customer presentations.
Willingness to travel up to 30% to support customer meetings and visit global engineering centers or plant facilities. Job location is Saudi Arabia full-time.
Ability to function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to read component prints and routers.
Experience with problem solving techniques that occur during the manufacturing/assembly/test processes.
Knowledge of manufacturing to order (MTO) business.
Working knowledge of performance testing.
Lean Practitioner or similar background a plus.
Experience in a supervisory or team leader role in a manufacturing or equivalent environment preferred.
Experience using Oracle or similar MRP systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
