Enbridge is seeking a supervisor for liquids projects to provide technical leadership, oversight, and people management for a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the design, integration, and construction support of major liquids pipeline facilities. This position exists to ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and alignment with corporate standards throughout the project lifecycle.

What you will do:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in the design, integration, and construction support of major liquids pipeline facilities, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with corporate standards.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance on facility design, equipment integration, and construction standards for pump stations, piping systems, valves, and electrical systems.

  • Oversee the development and approval of engineering deliverables, reports, and recommendations, ensuring adherence to project objectives, schedules, and budgets.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Project Managers, Engineering SMEs, Construction, Supply Chain, and Operations.

  • Support the resolution of technical issues during design, procurement, and construction phases, making independent decisions on engineering methods and risk management.

  • Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
     

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent). P Eng with APEGA.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in liquids pipeline engineering, with a focus on pump stations and system integration.

  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical projects.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (example, CSA Z662, API).

  • Technical experience in liquids pipeline systems, including pump station design and construction. Piping and valve design standards for station and terminal facilities. Electrical systems: transformers, EMDs and VFDs.

  • Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

  • Valid passport to travel and work in the US and Canada. 
     

Working Conditions:

  • Office based standard hours with occasional extended hours during peak project phases.

  • Occasional travel to project sites as required (approximately 25%).
