Discover Impactful Work:

The Supervisor, Digital Sales Account Management, is responsible for the success of the “On-Demand Concierge” program and acts as a working supervisor who leads a team of Sales Account Managers while actively working alongside them. Together, they manage a shared set of customer accounts to ensure top-notch service and support, helping to meet the territory’s annual revenue growth targets. The team uses various communication methods to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities, support customers, and increase adoption of key Biosciences product portfolios across North America. This role oversees the team’s daily activities, including coaching, guidance, and performance management, to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales growth goals. Additionally, the supervisor collaborates closely with other commercial sales functions, leaders, and support partners to connect customers with appropriate resources, provide accurate and timely information, maintain smooth interactions, and utilize systems and data for forecasting and ongoing improvement goals.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team handling a variety of customer inquiries and building relationships within assigned territory to advance our brand position, while also personally engaging with customers alongside the team.

  • Monitor team workloads, ensuring timely follow-up on all inquiries.

  • Work directly within the shared customer territory to respond to and follow up on customer inquiries, modeling best practices in digital selling and customer support.

  • Provide mentoring on selling skills, consultative conversations, and solution positioning.

  • Support the team in becoming experts in assigned product portfolios.

  • Maintain sales funnels and utilization of Salesforce.com for opportunity tracking and account management.

  • Regularly review performance metrics to identify strengths and mentoring needs.

  • Partner with various teams across the matrix to resolve customer needs swiftly.

  • Ensure the team delivers information, pricing, quotes, and promotions aligned within our guidelines.

  • Collaborate with marketing to support digital campaigns and follow up on leads.

  • Onboard new team members, ensuring successful integration.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive team culture.

  • Advocate for process improvements to improve customer experience and boost sales growth.

Keys to Success

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science required

  • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences equivalent experience in a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Requires 3+ years of related work experience in customer-facing roles.

  • Requires 1+ years of managerial or supervisory experience in relevant roles.

  • 1-2 years of sales experience in a customer-facing role in a relevant industry.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar programs.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM preferred.

  • Comfort learning and adapting technology & AI

  • Knowledge of life sciences workflows or laboratory experience highly desired.
