Major Duties:

  • You will carry-out the full range of supervisory management functions.
  • You will lead Career Training Continuum IT modernization and service delivery to include the development of a training ecosystem.
  • You will work across multiple stakeholders and customer organizations to ensure positive customer experience and integration of IT system requirements.
  • You will develop and execute plans and strategies that are aligned and supportive of enterprise Navy learning technology.
  • You will provide advice and counsel to the DON leadership regarding acquisition management issues for the modernization and sustainment of Career Training Continuum IT training systems.
  • You will address training inefficiencies that include cost, schedule, performance, and risk implications.
  • You will review and determine adequacy of program plans and schedules, systems engineering and integration efforts, interoperability efforts, acquisition strategies, plans, analysis, and initiatives.
  • You will advise and lead research, development, and acquisition activities to ensure IT learning systems technical excellence, continuity, and cohesiveness to overall DON and Department of Defense (DOD) plans and architectures.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to oversee, manage, and execute the overall cost, schedule, and performance of assigned program(s) and demonstrate proactive leadership, decision-making, and oversight across the program(s) lifecycles rooted in Leading Change; Leading People; Results-Driven; Business Acumen; and Building Coalitions.
