Overview:

Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Supervisor, Client Connectivity to work full time days with Laboratory Services.

*This is a hybrid position

Overview

The Supervisor, Client Connectivity is responsible for leading and evolving the client connectivity strategy for Sentara Reference Lab. This role owns the connectivity roadmap and oversees system integrations that enable seamless electronic ordering, results delivery, and provider adoption. The Supervisor partners closely with IT, Lab Operations, Revenue Cycle, and external vendors to ensure connectivity solutions align with clinical, operational, and business objectives while meeting regulatory and security requirements.

Education

  • High School Education (Required)
  • Associates Degree (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

  • No specific certification or licensure requirements

Experience

  • Experience with Epic, including Epic-related laboratory integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7-based system integrations.
  • Experience supporting or implementing Epic Cheers.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms.
  • Experience working with laboratory middleware systems (e.g., 4Medica or similar).
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in healthcare, laboratory services, or clinical IT environments strongly preferred.
