Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is working with a highly rated Independent Fostering Agency seeking an experienced practitioner to join their stable service on a permanent, full-time basis (37 hours/week) as a Supervising Social Worker.

The caseload covers areas including Richmond, Teesside, Middlesborough, Hartlepool & up to Northumberland.

Caseload: Please note, although the office base is in Greater Manchester, the caseload spans North East England, covering areas such as Richmond, Teesside, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, and up to Northumberland.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will,

  • Be responsible for supporting and managing approved foster carers.
  • Provide professional advice when necessary.
  • Contribute to business planning.
  • Supervise Support Workers and Social Work Students.
  • Work closely with other social work staff and foster carers to ensure that quality standards are met in all assessments.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • A Social Work qualification.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Ideally, prior experience in fostering is preferred, however, candidates with 2+ years of post-qualified experience in other areas of children's services will be considered.
  • The willingness and ability to travel as required across the region.
