Position Title: Summer Student, Corporate Accounting

Term Length: Summer 2026 (May – August)

Work Model: 3 days in office per week

Position Overview

Supporting the Corporate Accounting team, the Summer Student role will get the opportunity for some hands-on experience within the field of Accounting and Reporting at a fast-paced real estate company. Throughout the work term, students will participate in exciting events, including department information sessions, coffee chats with senior leaders, company-wide culture events, quarterly Town Halls, and skill-building workshops. 

Responsibilities:

You will have the opportunity to work on several diverse projects. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with ongoing accounting system testing, including investigating issues and implementing resolutions
  • Assist in the preparation of the externally published quarterly reporting documents and internal supporting files.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives to increase effectiveness and productivity.
  • Assist in the maintenance of internal control policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant undergraduate program and area of interest

  • Demonstrates initiative, dependability, and reliability, and goes beyond what is required without being asked.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for details
  • Ability to organize and prioritize various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently and as an integral part of the team with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
