In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable.
A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.
Federal Work Study student may apply.
In good disciplinary standing.
Must be located in the U.S.

Schedule: up to 30 hours per week, as needed and determined by program directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary customer service when interacting with program participants and families; may involve greeting participants and families, answering questions, directing traffic, and otherwise acting as a resource for participants
- Provide on-the-ground support for program directors as needed, including classroom assistance, monitoring open mics nights, field trips, warm ups, and other program activities.
- Run errands as needed
- May include general office support, including printing, organizing, and distributing student schedules and written music to be used as teaching materials
- This year MTAI is seeking at least one Assistant with technological capabilities in order to solely support acting for the camera class.
Expectation & Qualifications:
- Experience in the Boston Conservatory Theatre Department is a MUST.
- Background in Musical Theatre & Acting.
- Must be punctual and reliable with a friendly and upbeat attitude. Lateness will not be tolerated.
- Experience working with customer service, especially face-to-face.
- Familiarity with Berklee campus and key buildings and offices, specifically those used by the Theatre Department at Boston Conservatory.
- Must be available for in-person work at the Boston campus during the summer months.
