At Agropur, we produce some of the highest-quality dairy products in the industry, and that takes a strong team behind the scenes. Our Weyauwega Cheese Plant is looking for a Maintenance Summer Help team member to support our department during the busy summer months.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning how manufacturing equipment operates, and being part of a team that keeps production running smoothly.
What you'll do:
As a member of our maintenance team for the summer, you’ll help support day-to-day plant operations by assisting with general maintenance tasks and projects around the facility.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting maintenance technicians with routine maintenance and repairs
Supporting preventative maintenance activities on plant equipment
Helping with equipment cleaning, lubrication, and inspections
Completing small facility improvement or repair projects
Maintaining a clean and organized maintenance workspace
Following all plant safety, food safety, and quality standards
Assisting with general upkeep of equipment and tools
This role provides valuable exposure to industrial maintenance within a food manufacturing environment.
What you need to join our team:
High school student, college student, or individual interested in maintenance or manufacturing work
Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning how equipment works
Ability to safely use basic tools and follow instructions
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, equipment movement, and temperature variation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
Reliable attendance and a strong team mindset
Experience in maintenance, construction, mechanical work, or manufacturing is helpful but not required.

Our Weyauwega, WI, plant is home to approximately 225 employees. This facility produces award-winning feta and aged cheddar cheese, as well as lactose and reduced lactose whey.
