Education Required:
Law student who will have completed at least one year of law school by the start of the internship; completion of second year strongly preferred. Coursework in privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, health law, or pharmaceutical law is preferred.
General Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Privacy Law Intern to support the Privacy and Data Ethics team within Legal & Compliance. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the intersection of U.S. and European privacy law, medical research, digital health/security, and global commercial operations in a multinational life sciences organization.
The ideal candidate will be a law student who has completed their second year of law school, is eager to develop practical in-house legal skills, and is interested in building a career in privacy, technology, information governance or health law. The intern will work closely with counsel and cross‑functional partners to support compliance with global data protection laws while advancing business objectives in research, development, and commercialization.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with standard productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Familiarity with or interest in privacy management tools (e.g., OneTrust) is a plus but not required
Other Qualifications:
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Travel: The position is remote. Travel to the office TBD.
Pay Rate: $35.00/hour
