What You Will Work On:
As part of our innovative security concepts team, you will contribute to both research and engineering activities, including research and implementation tasks:
Conduct a literature study to explore the latest advancements in PQC
Search for and evaluate existing PQC implementations
Port open-source PQC libraries to NXP embedded boards
Implement cryptographic solutions from academic papers
Benchmark and analyze the performance of PQC on embedded devices

Your Profile
You’re a motivated student currently pursuing studies in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Telematics, Information Security, or a related discipline.
Skills that help you shine:
Programming expertise in C
Familiarity with programming microcontrollers
Cryptography knowledge is a plus
Good English skills (spoken and written)
Availability: Full-time for 2–3 months between June and September 2026
The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.100- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
