Education Required:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in: Finance, Accounting, Economics

Business Analytics, Data Science Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

General Description:

The Global Finance Intern will actively participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of artificial intelligence (AI) use cases throughout global finance processes and controls. In this role, the intern will be responsible for translating real-world finance challenges into AI-driven solutions. They will collaborate with global stakeholders and contribute directly to various initiatives, such as pilot programs, proofs of concept, or fully deployed solutions, all aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and informed decision-making within the organization.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students who have an interest in finance, accounting, data analytics, technology, and business transformation. It offers hands-on experience that bridges the gap between academic learning and practical application in a global finance context.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Assist in the design and execution of AI use cases across global finance processes, including:

  • Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
  • Accounting, close, and consolidation
  • Internal controls, compliance, and audit support
  • Treasury & Tax Strategies
  • Forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting

Partner with global finance process owners to understand end‑to‑end workflows and control requirements

Support hands‑on execution of use cases by:

  • Assisting with data analysis, model logic, or tool configuration
  • Testing outputs for accuracy, consistency, and control effectiveness
  • Documenting results and lessons learned

Collaborate with cross‑functional global teams (Finance, IT, Data, Internal Audit) to assess that solutions are:

  • Scalable across regions
  • Aligned with global finance standards and policies
  • Compliant with internal control expectations

Prepare presentations, dashboards, and summaries for finance leadership highlighting insights, outcomes, and recommendations

Computer Skills:   

  • Exposure to one or more of the following:
    • Python, SQL, R, or similar analytical tools
    • Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
    • AI/ML concepts, robotic process automation (RPA), or predictive analytics
  • Excellent computer software skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable working with data sets and open to learning and utilizing new tools as needed for analytical tasks.
  • Consistently demonstrates professionalism and exercises sound ethical judgment in all responsibilities.

Pay Rate: $27.00/Hour

Salary Range: $ - $ per hour

Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
