NXP Semiconductors is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Customer Application Support team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our cutting-edge semiconductor products, assisting customers with technical inquiries, and contributing to the success of our global client base.
As a Customer Application Support Intern, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting senior engineers in providing technical support to NXP customers regarding product application, integration, and troubleshooting.
* Conducting basic testing and reproduction of customer reported issues in a lab environment.
* Contributing to the development of technical documentation, application notes, and training materials.
* Participating in team meetings and learning sessions to enhance product knowledge and support skills.
* Performing other duties as assigned to support the Customer Application Support team.
To be successful in this internship, you should possess the following qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Basic understanding of semiconductor devices, microcontrollers, and digital/analog electronics.
* Familiarity with embedded systems and programming languages (e.g., C/C++) is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and contribute.
* Prior experience with customer interaction or technical support is beneficial but not required.
Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.100- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
