Your team
You will join the Global Product Solutions (GPS) Strategy team in Zurich, an inhouse consulting unit within the product division. The team supports senior management across GPS globally by shaping and driving strategic initiatives and contributing to the development of innovative financial products across asset classes.

As a Summer intern, you will work closely with experienced strategists and subject-matter experts gaining exposure to core strategic topics within GPS. During your internship, you will collaborate with multiple GPS teams and stakeholders, gaining first-hand insight into how strategy, products, and execution come together in a global private banking environment.

YOUR CHALLENGE

What to work on:

  • Support the preparation of strategy papers, market and book analyses, and management presentations for senior stakeholders within GPS

  • Assist in data analysis and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative information

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects, such as business development topics, organizational improvements or operational efficiency initiatives

  • Support project workstreams from concept development to implementation, including coordination with cross-functional teams

What to learn:

  • How an inhouse strategy team operates

  • Investment products, asset classes and client-driven solutions in private banking

  • Structured problem solving, analytical thinking and storytelling skills

  • Hands-on experience in executive level communication and strategic decision support

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor student from 2nd year onwards or enrolled Master student in the field(s) of Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)

  • Interest in strategy, markets and wealth management

  • Initial practical experience in the financial industry and skills/knowledge in financial services or consulting environment is a plus

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with data analysis or visualisation tools

  • High attention to detail and ability

  • Passion for wealth management

  • A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning

  • Fluency in English and German, with additional languages being a plus

  • Registered in the country of application with a valid work permit
