Your team
The GPS Business Management team in Zurich drives the core business management functions across the organisation, including planning, forecast, and tracking of key KPIs. It also provides business support to enable informed decision-making by senior management and drives initiatives to streamline operations and increase the overall efficiency within GPS.

This internship offers the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in how a bank operates at a strategic and organisational level. You will work closely with business managers and senior stakeholders to support day-to-day operations, coordination of initiatives as well as supporting on our People Development roadmap.

YOUR CHALLENGE

What to work on:

  • Support the preparation of weekly and monthly performance reports

  • Assist in tracking KPIs, financial and other business metrics

  • Help maintain management presentations

  • Assist in updating internal documentations (e.g. procedure, people development process, guidelines)

What to learn:

  • Gain understanding on how a sizable organization functions from the inside

  • Develop skills in working with financial data

  • Insight into the governance, financials, and controls that underpin the banking industry

  • A supportive team environment with continuous learning opportunities

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor student from 2nd year onwards or enrolled Master student in the field(s) of Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
  • Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth
  • A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus
  • Registered in the country of application with a valid work permit
