ROLE OVERVIEW

The Wind Development Intern supports the Wind Development team by contributing to land management, lease organization, asset management, and data integrity efforts across utility-scale wind projects.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Review wind leases and easements and record deviations on the master tracker
  • Support implementation of the land management tool, including data entry, quality checks, and process documentation
  • Review landowner information and verify completeness and accuracy
  • Support data integrity efforts across development asset records
  • Assist Wind Developers with project development tasks as assigned

 
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and communicate findings clearly
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic data modeling
  • High attention to detail and comfort working with master data, reports, and land records
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
  • Basic understanding of GIS and GIS processes
