Job Purpose:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Infrastructure Intern to assist with our laptop refresh initiative. This role will support the IT Infrastructure team in deploying new devices, ensuring smooth transitions for end-users, and maintaining accurate asset records. The intern will gain hands-on experience in hardware lifecycle management and enterprise IT operations.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare and configure laptops according to corporate standards (imaging, software installation, security settings).
Coordinate with end-users to schedule device swaps and assist with data migration.
Validate inventory and update asset management systems.
Perform basic troubleshooting during deployment and escalate issues as needed.
Ensure proper disposal or return of old equipment in compliance with company policy.
Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Others assigned duties as required within the infrastructure area.
Who You Are:
Currently, pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and common productivity tools.
Familiarity with imaging tools and hardware setup is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic IT troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of hardware components and imaging processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
