Client Support Intern,
The Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence is a division of S&P Global. We deliver data, research, and technology that help customers broaden perspective, operate with confidence, and make decisions with conviction. The Public Market Solutions APAC Client Support team supports clients using our platforms by answering product questions, troubleshooting basic issues, and partnering with internal teams (Product, Development, Data, etc.) to escalate and resolve more complex cases.
Responsibilities and Impact:
 As a Client Support Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive client experience by supporting day-to-day client inquiries and internal workflows, gaining invaluable exposure to global financial markets and issuance-related workflows.
 Respond to inbound client queries (via email/ticketing tools) by providing accurate, timely help for common “how-to” questions and basic troubleshooting, with continuous guidance and mentorship from the team to foster your development.
 Log and document client interactions clearly in the team’s service management system, following templates and internal standards, contributing directly to the quality and integrity of our client service operations.
 Support the team with administrative and operational tasks (e.g., organizing requests, tracking case status, preparing simple summaries), enhancing your understanding of operational excellence in a global technology environment.
 Help liaise with internal teams by collecting details (screenshots, steps, timestamps) and escalating cases when needed, building your professional network and cross-functional collaboration skills.
 Support other ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned (learning-focused, with supervision), offering opportunities for hands-on learning and practical application of your skills.
 All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $A to $Z. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
 Current student (or recent graduate) pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
 Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); comfortable learning new systems/tools.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain information clearly and professionally.
 We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
