Job Description

The 2026 Social Commerce Summer Internship supports initiatives across brand marketing and focuses on driving sales through social media platforms.  The role will help test content across platforms, measure sales impact as well as determine long-term strategy.  Additionally, the intern will assist with various projects across brand marketing to provide broader exposure to the function.  

This role requires 4 days in the office, 1 day remote, and is located in St Louis, Missouri.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the establishment of the social commerce strategy.

  • Assist with execution of social content, guiding agency and/or executing with the help of the current social media team.

  • Work cross-functionally to determine content strategy and most importantly, measure the sales impact.

  • Learn more about marketing overall, including participate and lead at least one event.

  • Assist in a variety of marketing initiatives across digital, in-store and promotional tactics.

  • Take part in a cross-functional group project with other interns on a company wide opportunity that is presented to senior leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Required Education: Current and Fall 2026 enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree program, preferably in Business, Marketing, and completed at least 30 credit hours.

  • Available to work full-time Monday through Friday 6/1/2026 – 8/7/2026.

  • Reliable transportation required to travel to and from different events.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Awareness of what's trending in events

  • Relationship building.

  • Receptive to change.

  • Experience and comfort with utilizing Google Suite products.

  • Must be able to work remotely as necessary.

  • Displays values consistent with Schnucks’ COMET culture.

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:

  • Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
  • If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
