Summer Associate – Software Developer (AI & PeopleSoft)
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Position Summary:

The Software Developer Intern will support internal application development initiatives leveraging AI technologies and PeopleSoft systems. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise software development, automation, and data-driven solutions within a healthcare technology environment. The intern will work closely with software engineers, business analysts, and systems teams to support development, testing, and enhancement of AI-enabled solutions and PeopleSoft-based workflows. Responsibilities are clearly defined, and work is completed under close guidance.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities:

• Assist with development and enhancement of internal applications using AI-driven tools and automation
• Support configuration, customization, and data workflows within PeopleSoft modules
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate requirements into functional solutions
• Participate in application testing, debugging, and quality assurance activities
• Support data integrations, reporting, and process optimization initiatives
• Document technical designs, workflows, and development updates following established standards
• Complete assigned development tasks with defined priorities and timelines

This work will result in:
• Improved efficiency and automation of internal systems and workflows
• Enhanced use of AI to support data insights and decision-making
• Increased optimization and reliability of PeopleSoft-supported business processes
• Direct contribution to enterprise technology initiatives supporting healthcare operations

Qualifications:

Education & Years of Experience
High School Diploma/GED plus 0–2 years of work experience

Minimum of a 3.0 GPA

Preferred Areas of Study:
Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.

  • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

    Pay Rate

    $17.25 - $20.50 Hourly

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
