Position Summary

The Sales & Marketing Summer Associate will support new client acquisition efforts by enhancing Salesforce data quality, building targeted contact strategies, and supporting outbound marketing campaigns aligned to key sales initiatives. During the 8-week program, the associate will focus on strengthening account and contact data to support marketing campaigns that drive new business opportunities for AMN Healthcare. This role will also support virtual meeting scheduling based on responses from sales and marketing outreach, directly contributing to the sales pipeline.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

  • Utilize Definitive Healthcare and other data sources to align, build, and enrich non-acute accounts within Salesforce, supporting future targeting through ZoomInfo (NextGen Sales Tool)

  • Pull, build, and align key contacts by specialty department through executive level within Salesforce for both acute and non-acute target accounts

  • Create targeted email campaigns using contact matrix groupings, ensuring each contact is individually added to the appropriate campaign

  • Add depth and accuracy to Salesforce account and contact records aligned with active marketing campaigns and sales initiatives

  • Support new client acquisition efforts by scheduling virtual meetings resulting from sales and marketing outreach responses

  • Assist sales and marketing teams with ad hoc data requests, list building, and campaign support as needed

Skills & Experience Gained

  • Hands-on experience supporting sales and marketing initiatives focused on new client acquisition

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including account buildout, contact alignment, and campaign tracking

  • Experience using healthcare market intelligence tools such as Definitive Healthcare and ZoomInfo

  • Exposure to targeted email campaign creation and contact segmentation strategies

  • Understanding of sales pipeline development and lead-to-meeting conversion processes

  • Data accuracy, compliance, and organization skills within enterprise CRM systems

  • Professional communication skills through collaboration with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 0–2 years of related experience

  • 3.0 GPA

Additional Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student or recent graduate

  • Interest in sales, marketing, business development, or market research

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

    Pay Rate

    $17.25 - $20.50 Hourly

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
