Position Summary

The Culture & Belonging Summer Associate will support initiatives that strengthen trust, belonging, and connection across the enterprise. This role contributes to intentional programs, experiences, and communications that amplify employee voice, support inclusive collaboration, and reinforce a consistent Culture & Belonging experience for team members.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

The intern will support culture and belonging initiatives by:

  • Assisting with the planning and facilitation of Culture & Belonging experiences, including team connection forums, ERG programs, and inclusive team‑building activities (both in‑person and virtual)
  • Partnering with Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders to support programming aligned to belonging outcomes
  • Contributing to Culture & Belonging communications such as newsletters, toolkits, learning challenges, and internal stories highlighting progress, participation, and impact
  • Supporting light research and benchmarking on engagement and belonging practices to inform program improvements
  • Assisting with program coordination, documentation, and follow‑through activities

Skills & Experience Gained

  • Practical experience supporting culture, belonging, and employee experience initiatives in a corporate environment
  • Exposure to employee listening practices, engagement action planning, and inclusive facilitation
  • Experience supporting program coordination and light budget management
  • Hands-on experience drafting internal communications and storytelling that reinforce culture and trust
  • Opportunity to propose and help shape new culture‑building ideas based on observation, research, and feedback

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 0–2 years of related experience
  • 3.0 GPA

Additional Requirements

  • Graduate‑level college student | Preferred
  • Relevant fields include Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Student Affairs/Higher Education, Hospitality, Organizational Leadership, or related disciplines
  • Prior experience in student programming, campus involvement, event coordination, or peer leadership strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership (e.g., student organizations, student government, program committees)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
  • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

    Pay Rate

    $17.25 - $20.50 Hourly

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
