Summer Analyst, Capital Markets

DigitalBridge is seeking a Summer Analyst to join its Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team to support credit and capital markets work while building AI technical skills. This internship sits inside the Investment Management organization. The Summer Analyst will work on a wide range of assignments, including market research & updates, deal data collection, materials preparation, and hand-on AI projects designed to leverage financing data and streamline recurring workflows. The role will provide direct exposure to DCM deal flow of financing in the DigitalBridge portfolio and new opportunities, ABS pipelines, credit documentation, and conclude with a capstone project presented to the Debt Capital Markets team.  

In addition, the Summer Analyst will participate in a comprehensive training program throughout the summer spanning topics such as private equity fundamentals, financial analysis and modeling, investor relations and asset management. The Program offers an opportunity to gain immediate exposure to a world-class network of investment professionals. The position is located in New York City.

 

Responsibilities

  • Use AI/LLMs to prototype and develop an agent that analyzes debt financing credit documentation and outputs standardized summaries based on our internal summary grid
  • Conduct market research on credit and capital markets: monitor primary issuance, comparable transactions, lender activity, and identify short and medium-term trends
  • Assist the DCM team with collection and maintenance of deal data for closed financing and in-process transactions (e.g. ABS, Bonds, CMBS, Revolvers, Private Placements, Term Loans, etc.)
  • Create and maintain recurring reports including in-process financing tracker, ABS prep packets, lender capability matrices, and DCM quarterly summaries
  • Participating in a training program covering a variety of topics related to Private Equity and Digital Infrastructure investing

Qualifications

  • Strong GPA from an accredited university (preferably Business major with an emphasis in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or related field)
  • Basic familiarity with credit products or a demonstrated interest in debt capital markets and the private equity industry
  • Intellectual curiosity about AI/ML and eagerness to apply these tools to real opportunities
  • Outstanding presentation and data management skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and LLMs; familiarity with Bloomberg, PowerBI, or Salesforce is a plus
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively, independently, and professionally in a world-class investment organization: able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Undergraduate student (preferably rising Junior or Senior at time of internship)
