Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2026 placement with a start date of May 2026 and end-date of August 2026. 
 
In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026; or

  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April/August 2026), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

Please ensure that you meet these eligibility requirements before applying - candidates who apply but are found to be ineligible are not able to be considered.

What is the opportunity?

  • Support administrative and simple activities (complete control excel templates for CGO submission, reporting, control maintenance, warranty support)

Skill:

  • Self-starter, self-motivated, independent worker- ability to complete tasks without close oversight

  • Teamwork & partnering, partner engagement (i.e., ability to reach out to partners)

  • Strong task management skills and detail oriented

  • Strong Communication (written, oral)

  • Digital organization skills (for task management and tracking)

  • Digital tools proficiency – (ability to be trained on Archer and use RM tools; ability to book outlook meetings)

  • Nice to have – ability to use AI tools (to be able to use RBC Assist)

  • Excel proficiency

  • Ability to synthesize written info (multiple policy/ documents) and bring to life (write a control description)  

Activities:

  • Support simple control updates (maintenance) and documentation (complete an end-to-end review and work with AI or a template to re-write an existing control)

  • ECT support (proactive review of assessment schedule and review control ahead of time and bring forward gaps & recommendations for improvement)

  • Support sustainability/warranty activities and support for new and amended controls by tracking a schedule of new controls (for BRM advisory/controls follow-up)

  • Support control initiative status tracking, reporting for executive, control dashboard

  • Meeting minutes

  • Prep Control templates (excel based)

  • If time permits, help research competitive/industry trends and prepare a small “strategic fact pack” paper
