🚀 Internship Overview
We are seeking a Summer 2026 Intern to join our POC team with a focus on developing digital agents within Vistra LLM software platform. This role offers hands-on experience in applying AI-driven automation to real-world operational challenges in the energy sector.
Job Description
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test digital agents to support day-to-day monitoring and diagnostics operations.
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts to identify opportunities for workflow automation and decision support tools.
- Integrate digital agents with existing data pipelines, APIs, and visualization dashboards.
- Document development processes and provide recommendations for scaling digital agent capabilities.
- Present project outcomes to the POC team and leadership at the end of the internship.
- Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Possess the ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment
- All other duties as assigned
🎓 Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with Python, C#, or JavaScript; experience with APIs and automation frameworks preferred.
- Interest in AI/ML, digital agents, and workflow automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Students sponsored through Optical Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT) are NOT eligible for this internship.
- Official transcripts must be received from your school prior to start date
- Must be in good academic standing with your school
