Internship Details:
· Dates: June 1 – August 7, 2026
· Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday)
· Pay: $14/hour
· Location: 1550 Liberty Ridge Dr, Suite 250, Chesterbrook, PA 19087

Internship Focus:
Join a passionate, strategic, and collaborative team dedicated to advancing the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Our team works to increase awareness and philanthropic support through innovative programs, impactful events, and strong community partnerships. We lead initiatives in individual, bequest, and corporate giving; volunteer engagement; marketing and PR; and signature events like the St. Jude Walk/Run, Radiothons, Galas, Golf Tournaments, Collegiate and Greek Life programs, and High School Leadership initiatives.
Internship Highlights: As a summer intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in nonprofit development, event planning, communications, and community engagement. Projects may include:
Event Planning & Support
· Fairways for Hope (July 13, 2026): Assist with pre-event logistics (signage, gift bags, volunteer training), day-of operations (volunteer coordination, check-in, logistics), and post-event follow-up (documentation and acknowledgments).
· St. Jude Walk/Run (September 2026): Support team and participant recruitment through outreach, help secure in-kind donations and entertainment, and assist with event setup and execution.
Social Media & Communications
· Develop and implement strategies to grow our social media presence.
· Monitor engagement and respond to inquiries.
· Draft and distribute newsletter content.
Administrative & Operational Support
· Conduct outreach calls, assemble materials, write donor thank-you cards, and manage supplies and calendars.
· Support event setup and takedown as needed.
Special Projects
· Assist with volunteer recruitment and management.
· Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and partners.
· Support emerging initiatives like the St. Jude Leadership Society, Collegiate and Greek Life programs, Women Who Lead, and Rising Star/Future Leader programs.
Majors preferred: Communications, Business, Computer & Information Sciences, Health Education, Social Studies, English & Foreign Languages, Health Sciences & Technologies
Skills preferred: Social Media, Excel, Adobe, Microsoft Suite, AI-based programs such as Co-Pilot. Excellent writing and communication skills are required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Experience in working with volunteers, leadership within student organizations and familiarity with the St. Jude Mission preferred.
