Internship Details:
Dates: June 1 – August 7, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday)
Pay: $14/hour
Location: 4722 N. Sheridan Road Peoria, IL 61614

Qualifications:
Must be undergraduate, graduate, or recent graduate (May 2026 eligible)
Passionate about our mission
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Must be 18 years of age or older
Internship Focus:
This intern will be working with our Peoria, IL based team and establish skills needed to plan and execute in person fundraising events.
As an intern, you will have several various duties that may be assigned, but will provide general support to the team for the following programs:
Telethon: local marketing strategy input, participant management and engagement, sponsorship recruitment, logistics, and more – attendance event day is required (8/2/25)
St. Jude Runs: assist with event calendar, assist with newsletter, assist with social media, and more
St. Jude Rides: assist in preparation for first participant meeting, participant management and engagement and more
Golf: attend meeting(s), assist with side event dinner; event day logistics
Youth Programs: assist in planning and development of collegiate and high school programming and Teen Hour for the Telethon
Majors preferred: Marketing, Communications, Business, Non-profit Leadership, Recreation Management, or any other related field of study
Skills preferred: Office 365, social media, excel, written & verbal communication
