As an Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in supporting technical projects and initiatives that bring value to patients, customers, and our employees. You’ll collaborate with a passionate global team to conduct research, testing, and planning while gaining hands-on experience in engineering processes and innovation.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Writing and reviewing technical documents to support engineering projects.
  • Assisting with research and development activities to support global manufacturing initiatives
  • Evaluating new production materials, equipment, and technologies.
  • Assessing technical feasibility to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborating with engineers on global initiatives that impact business success.
  • Applying analytical and problem-solving skills to improve existing processes.
  • Learning and contributing to projects that enhance patient care and product performance.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to and following the internship.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through extracurricular activities or projects.
  • Ability to commit to a 10–12 week, full-time (40 hours/week) summer internship.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of curiosity and willingness to learn.
