[Summer 2026] Elementary Enrichment Specialist ( Propose your Topic!)

Originally founded in 1991 as Harlem RBI, DREAM has grown to annually serve more than 2,500 youth across East Harlem and the South Bronx through a network of seven PreK-12, extended-day, extended-year DREAM Charter Schools and community sports-based youth development programs. Through our commitment to rigorous academics, social-emotional learning, deep family and community engagement, and health and wellness, we create lifelong learners who are equipped to fulfill their vision of success in and out of the classroom. Enrichment Specialists design and lead engaging, hands-on experiences for elementary students aligned to DREAM’s four enrichment pillars: Athletics & Wellness (AHW), STEM, Arts, and Applied Learning. Programs should spark curiosity, build skills, and support creativity, collaboration, and confidence. Instruction should be active, structured, and developmentally appropriate, while fostering a fun and supportive environment where students can explore new interests and deepen existing ones.

We are looking for instructors who can propose and lead a clearly defined enrichment focus within one of these pillars. Sessions should be well-structured, interactive, and emphasize skill-building, participation, and positive community, while ensuring all activities are inclusive and accessible to all learners.

Specialists lead 45 to 75 minute sessions for groups of 18–20 students in grades K–5, supported by two Youth Workers.
