The Role and Impact:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Intel as a Strategic Sourcing Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Intel's global supply chain. This position is critical to driving value through strategic sourcing decisions, managing key supplier relationships, and enabling long-term business growth. As a leader within Intel's supply chain organization, you will directly impact Intel's ability to deliver cutting-edge technologies while ensuring sustainability, affordability, and resilience. Collaborating across diverse functions and geographies, you will influence high-level strategies and help build a best-in-class procurement ecosystem that supports Intel's innovation and leadership in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage strategic supplier relationships, collaborating with senior leaders to align priorities and drive shared business goals focusing on S and OE. Manage production schedules, urgent material procurement, logistical bottlenecks, and immediate inventory adjustments to ensure high customer service levels and rapid responsiveness.
  • Develop, implement, and execute commodity strategies to support long-term growth and supply chain resilience. Oversee material procurement timing and distribution to meet immediate demand while maintaining line of sight on upcoming demand requirements.
  • Identify disruptions in supply and drive action items to maintain, recover, and ensure upcoming supply health. Create robust negotiation strategies, leveraging industry benchmarking and market dynamics to achieve affordability and innovation targets.
  • Influence supplier evaluation and selection, ensuring alignment with Intel's strategic needs across technology, cost, capacity, and sustainability goals.
  • Anticipate business risks and lead mitigation strategies, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness in delivery.
  • Educate internal stakeholders and suppliers on compliance policies while identifying opportunities to adapt policies to better support business objectives.
  • Inspire and lead teams, facilitating work through clear goal setting, accountability, and differentiated performance management.
  • Represent sourcing strategies and deliverables to executive forums, preparing presentations digestible across all organizational levels.
  • Engage with customers and cross-functional Intel teams, prioritizing supplier allocations and establishing capacity corridors to ensure product readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in supply line and capacity management.
  • Proven experience leading strategic supplier relationships in a fabless manufacturing or external sourcing environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and sourcing methodologies, with a strong focus on cost, quality, and delivery metrics.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with contracting, collaboration/investments, intellectual property, and acquisitions.
  • Familiarity with substrates supply chains or similar industries is a strong plus.
  • Strong communication skills, executive presence, and ability to influence across organizational levels.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, including developing teams, managing performance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 12+ years of experience; or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 8+ years of experience; or Ph.D. in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 6+ years of experience. MBA degree or engineering background preferred

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $180,140.00-254,320.00 USD

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
