The Role and Impact
As a Supply Chain Engineer at Intel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing Intel's global supply chain strategy. You will support management in identifying and implementing process improvements, ensuring quality, reliability, and efficiency across Intel's supply chain framework. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with supply chain leads and technical teams to implement solutions for identified process and quality improvement opportunities.
- Explore emerging technologies and benchmark industry practices for supply chain advancement.
- Define material inspection methodologies and create plans to optimize supply chain and logistics processes.
- Monitor supply and demand trends, conduct root cause analyses, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Drive supplier performance improvements by establishing control standards, determining KPIs, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Manage quality excursions, lead failure mode analyses, and develop specifications that minimize variability and align with operational requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a specialized field such as Supply Chain Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing or equivalent experience per business needs.
- 4 or more years of experience in supply chain engineering with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 or more years with a Master's degree.
- Proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis, and business intelligence tools for decision-making.
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier manufacturing operations and quality assurance processes.
- Technical skills in supply chain management, process optimization, and risk mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a related field.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and driving strategic initiatives in supply chain and logistics frameworks.
- Ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and innovative supply chain methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
