Position Title: SME Project Coordinator
Responsibilities
• Oversee the end-to-end production lifecycle of subtitling projects allotted
• Accountable for on time delivery strictly respecting project milestones, procedures and
client specification
• Is expected to be well versed with client specification and guidelines in order to assist PCs
and production teams in clearing queries as needed
• Processing new projects that come in from the Accounts team
• Ensures all emails/queries are answered to promptly
• Liaising with the ACs on determining workflow and steps to be followed for all projects being
assigned to them
• Creating detailed POA and clearly communicating information about projects in the pipeline
to other departments, external users (editors and translators) and the global team in
different time zones.
• Assist the TL/PM in running a daily report using various Dashboards on Sfera for the projects
being worked on by the team, ensuring all work in progress tasks are on track
• Is the backup for Team Lead in his/her respective shift
• Doing a secondary sync check on the proxy and doing an asset check on scripts provided,
before launching a project
• Updating work trackers (where required and present) to ensure projects are being assigned
to users in a timely fashion and to denote accurate status of projects
• Work as a project lead for any big projects that are being handled by your team. Overseeing
the timely delivery of the same by working with the assigned coordinators.
• Should escalate to leads and above, where project delays and complications are going out of
the PC's span of control
• Should resolve all payments regularly, and ensure there are no pending payments at the end
of the month
• Involved in daily communication and follow-up to ensure each project flows smoothly within
the timeline, receives adequate checks, and is completely ready for delivery on time.
• May need to dial into production calls outside the current work shift.
• Is expected to assist other products/clients when needed to meet client's demand
• Hold impromptu meetings or schedule conference calls, based on the need of their project
• Communicate to translators, send out availability requests as needed
• Should complete a comprehensive handover to the next shift, when required, before logging
off for the day
• Remains flexible and puts the needs of the client first, this may involve working outside shift
hours to ensure deliveries are met
• Excellent, transparent and timely communication skills
• Must attend production calls during one's shift as needed
• Liaise with the PC Ops team in providing the necessary information/material to keep the
client specific training documents up to date and communicating any PCN that may apply to
a particular process the S
