Job Description:

PROGRAM ANALYST SME

Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Program Analyst SME . Here, you’ll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT.

The Program Analyst SME will provide extensive knowledge and expertise across the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) arena for the Navy, with a specific focus on the aviation sector. This role encompasses responsibilities related to organization, asset configuration and accountability, maintenance processes and management, as well as other general aviation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Management
    • Act as the primary interface with the DoD Customer.
    • Ensure alignment with mission requirements and contract compliance.
    • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance support and collaboration.
  • Business Focus & Requirements Definition
    • Lead requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders.
    • Develop comprehensive business process models.
    • Define functional system requirements to meet business and mission objectives.
  • Functional System Design
    • Own the overall functional system design, ensuring it aligns with customer business objectives and mission needs.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable system specifications.
  • Change Management
    • Develop and execute organizational change management strategies.
    • Ensure successful adoption of IBM Maximo and related technologies across the enterprise.
    • Facilitate the transition to new processes and tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer
    • Design and deliver comprehensive user training programs.
    • Create training materials and provide ongoing support.
    • Enable operational readiness and ensure the workforce is proficient with new systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the MRO arena, specifically within the Navy's aviation sector.
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead requirements definition and business process modeling.
  • Expertise in functional system design and change management.
  • Experience with delivering user training programs and knowledge transfer.
  • Familiarity with IBM Maximo or similar enterprise asset management systems is preferred.

Education and Experience

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $70.45 - $0.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
