Pay Range: $23 – $47 per flat rate hour

About the Role

The Automotive Technician at Schomp Subaru is responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues across the full range of Subaru models — from routine scheduled maintenance to complex mechanical and electrical repairs. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, communicates clearly, and is always looking to sharpen their skills.

What You Will Do

  • As a Master Technician, you will invest in coworkers via mentoring, coaching, and the training of less-experienced and less- knowledgeable teammates.

  • You will invest in and protect the culture of the shop by exemplifying professionalism via respect as well as a positive, humble, and level-headed mindset.

  • As an Automotive Technician / Mechanic, you will service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance.

  • You'll inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement / repair as needed.

  • You will work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks. 

  • You'll efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals.

What You Need

  • You should be a Certified Master Subaru Technician.

  • You should have at least five years of full-time paid experience as a Subaru technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center. 

  • You should have the ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate the motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills.

  • You should be a positive team player: our company successes have always been built on mature and dedicated teams who love what they do.

  • Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools.

  • You must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
