This role strengthens scientific exchange, accelerates recruitment, and supports high‑quality study execution across regions.

Ambassadors provide real‑time clinical and protocol expertise, support sites in overcoming operational and medical barriers, and serve as an integrative link between study teams, Clinical Development, Clinical Science, and Global Medical Affairs. Their efforts are instrumental to building investigator advocacy, enhancing engagement, and driving the Phase 2 study toward successful and timely enrolment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Scientific & Clinical Expertise

  • Serve as the primary medical resource for investigators on Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases (IMIDs), disease biology, protocol rationale, and patient eligibility in their assigned sites.

  • Provide timely responses to medical and protocol questions, partnering with Clinical Science as needed.

  • Deliver site‑tailored educational sessions to reinforce key study concepts, assessments, endpoints, and operational expectations.

  • Support adoption of study‑critical approaches or procedures (e.g., implementation consistency across sites).

2. Strengthen Investigator & Site Engagement

  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with PIs, sub‑investigators, and site staff to support advocacy and recruitment acceleration.

  • Engage with sites through investigator meetings, SIVs, regional summits, conferences, and booster visits.

  • Act as a continuous, accessible scientific partner throughout the study lifecycle.

  • Motivate sites and help maintain recruitment momentum through regular strategic touchpoints.

3. Recruitment Acceleration & Barrier Resolution

  • Identify site‑specific recruitment obstacles and co‑develop actionable solutions through proactive scientific discussions.

  • Participate in cross‑functional recruitment meetings and support maintenance of recruitment tracking insights.

  • Tailor discussions to each site's specialty, workflow, and unmet needs using a problem‑solving, collaborative approach.

  • Drive consistent reinforcement of key medical messages linked to enrolment priorities.

4. Cross‑Functional Alignment & Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Operations, Clinical Science and Medical Affairs to ensure cohesive site strategies.

  • Attend weekly cross‑functional alignment meetings and pre‑visit planning sessions to optimize site engagement.

  • Ensure clear information flow between sites and internal teams, escalating insights that impact study conduct or recruitment.

  • Support coordination of advisory committee discussions and knowledge-sharing platforms.

5. Strategic Communication & Message Delivery

  • Apply structured communication frameworks to deliver high‑impact, consistent scientific messages.

  • Tailor communication based on PI specialty, site archetype, and identified recruitment barriers.

  • Participate in communication workshops, message harmonization meetings, and strategic planning activities.

  • Reinforce core medical narratives that promote investigator confidence and recruitment engagement.

6. Program Stewardship & Continuous Improvement

  • Document meeting insights, site needs, and emerging patterns to inform study-wide strategy adjustments.

  • Support ongoing development, harmonization, and refinement of the Study Ambassador model across regions.

  • Contribute to internal learnings, SOP updates, and process evolution for future CD studies.

  • Embody the success attributes outlined in the program’s framework: boldness, adaptability, negotiation, confidence, and patience.

Qualifications

Required

  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD).

  • Background in clinical development, medical affairs, or investigator-facing scientific roles.

  • Strong ability to conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchange with HCPs.

  • Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross‑functional environment.

  • Willingness to travel for site visits, summits, and study meetings.

Preferred

  • Experience in immunology, inflammatory diseases, dermatology, or related therapeutic areas relevant to the program.

  • Prior experience supporting Phase 2/3 clinical studies or recruitment‑critical initiatives.

  • Familiarity with operational workflows of global clinical trials.

Success Factors

  • Clear definition and alignment of responsibilities before site initiation.

  • Strong collaboration with Clinical Science and Medical Affairs.

  • Consistent delivery of key messages and ability to adapt strategies for individual sites.

  • Effective reporting lines and continuous information flow within the study team.
