The Studio Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, infrastructure, and technical readiness of the production facility. This role ensures the studio operates as a world-class creative environment—built on scalable systems, operational rigor, and best-in-class equipment standards.

Reporting into Production leadership, the Studio Manager will establish and maintain the processes, workflows, and tracking systems that enable efficient, high-volume production across photo, video, and live-stream content. This individual plays a critical role in safeguarding the studio’s technical assets while supporting seamless shoot execution.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an operational expert who combines deep technical fluency with process-driven thinking. The ideal candidate thrives in building systems from the ground up, understands the maintenance and lifecycle of high-end production equipment, and is comfortable supporting on-set logistics when required.

How You’ll CREATE

  • Develop, implement, and refine studio operational processes, systems, and workflows from facility launch through full-scale production.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive equipment tracking, inventory management, and preventative maintenance systems.
  • Oversee all studio equipment including cameras, lenses, lighting, grip & electric, audio, live-stream hardware, servers, and processing systems.
  • Design and manage maintenance schedules, service protocols, and vendor relationships to ensure all technical assets remain in optimal condition.
  • Lead the implementation of hardware and software systems for equipment tracking, digital inventory, and sample management.
  • Ensure studio readiness across all stages and shooting environments, maintaining a professional, safe, and technically sound facility.
  • Partner with Producers, Directors of Photography, and Content Production teams to support shoot setup, stage configuration, and logistical planning.
  • Assist with rigging, lighting prep, camera setup, and technical troubleshooting during shoot days when required.
  • Collaborate with Post Production and IT teams to ensure smooth handoffs between capture, storage, and post workflows.
  • Oversee studio scheduling coordination to prevent conflicts and optimize space utilization.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, insurance requirements, and operational best practices.
  • Proactively identify infrastructure upgrades and technology investments that improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.

Bring your VIBE

  • 8–12 years of experience managing production studios, facilities, or high-end creative environments.
  • Demonstrated experience building and implementing operational systems and technical workflows from the ground up.
  • Deep technical knowledge of professional-grade cameras, lenses, lighting systems, grip & electric, audio equipment, live-stream infrastructure, and digital storage solutions.
  • Strong understanding of preventative maintenance, equipment lifecycle management, and vendor servicing.
  • Experience implementing digital inventory and equipment tracking systems.
  • Hands-on experience supporting shoot setup and on-set logistics within photo, video, or broadcast environments.
  • Strong organizational and process-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Calm under pressure and capable of troubleshooting technical issues in real time.
  • Collaborative operator who works effectively across Production, Creative, and Post teams.
  • Experience within music, fashion, broadcast, or commercial production environments strongly preferred.
