Position Summary/Purpose:
This position will provide support assistance to the EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) department by supporting wheeled safety initiatives. This position will involve interfacing with students, staff and visitors to ensure safe wheeled transport and assisting with the creation of wheeled safety information.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
· Assisting with enforcement for No Wheels on Lopes Way
· Reporting any accidents/injuries/near misses witnessed
· Providing directions and general knowledge about GCU to students/visitors.
· Assists in developing flyers, documents, and tips pertaining to health & safety.
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
· MS Office
Qualifications:
· Driver's License
· Ability to set and follow a schedule.
· Self-motivated with a desire to learn and serve.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Must be able to comply with safety protocols (training will be provided).
Experience/Education:

• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
