This position falls under the classification Student Forester Worker.

Your New Role

As a temporary, full-time Student Forester Worker at Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park, you will assist or work in partnership with park rangers volunteers, and hosts in performing park maintenance tasks. Duties include but are not limited to janitorial work, landscape maintenance, interpretation, and visitor services directly affecting kayak, paddleboards, pedal boats and sand board rental operations near cleawox lake.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled at least half-time in high school.

Special Requirements:

  • To be hired, a criminal record and driving record check must be completed that meets OPRD Criteria at the time of hire, and throughout employment while also maintaining a valid drivers license.

  • Skill in monitoring and implementing routine procedures while providing customer service.
