Role and Department

Global Procurement is a key enabler of Genmab’s strategic transformation – supporting speed, operational efficiency, and financial performance. As Genmab scales and accelerates its pipeline, Procurement plays a pivotal role in driving time-to-market for new therapies through optimized sourcing strategies, digital solutions, and strategic partnerships.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Student Assistant to join our Global Commercial Procurement team at Genmab. This is a great opportunity for a student who would like to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international environment and learn about contract management, supplier collaboration, and strategic procurement processes.

As a Student Worker in the Global Procurement Commercial Team, you will assist the team members with a variety of administrative and coordination tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep track of all contracts within the different procurement categories

  • Ensure all contracts are uploaded and maintained in our contract management system

  • Support the Category Leads with spend reporting, contract extensions and renewals

  • Liaise with suppliers regarding contract renewals and related follow-ups

  • Support with the creation of presentations and other procurement materials

  • Assist with other procurement activities on ad hoc basis

Requirements

  • You're ideally in the final semester of your Bachelor's degree, expecting to continue with a Master’s Degree; alternatively, you are at the beginning of your Master's, preferably within Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field

  • You have strong attention to detail and a structured way of working

  • You are comfortable working in English, both written and spoken

  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office; Regarding Excel, you are either already a confident user, have some familiarity with it, or are eager to learn and improve your skills

  • You have a flair for becoming familiar with different IT systems and are keen to learn the internal Genmab systems

  • You have a natural analytical mindset and enjoy understanding how systems and processes work

  • You have good communication skills and enjoy working with different stakeholders

  • You are motivated to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

This position is in our HQ in Copenhagen, and we expect you to be working 15-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling to support your studies. Ideally, you will be on-site at least three days per week to stay closely connected with your team and benefit from working alongside experienced professionals. While we value in-person collaboration, there could be occasions when working from home could be possible.
