Position Summary/Purpose:
As a Lope Shops Retail Associate you provide front end customer service for the Lope Shops.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Work at assigned locations: Lope Shop, Team Shop, Hotel Shop, Stadium Shop, or Baseball Shop.
- Display proper customer service to all who walk into the stores.
- Ensure daily list of staff to-do’s is executed.
- Work sporting and special events around campus.
- Assist in stocking, cleaning, and maintaining of the all Lope Shops locations.
- Know all aspects of the POS system, including returns and department charges.
- Assist with inventory receiving and transferring.
- Be a team player and continually strive for excellence.
Equipment Used and Responsibility
- Driving the golf cart (valid driver's license required)
- Push carts (used for restocking the floor)
- iPads and iPhones (used for various reasons on a daily basis)
- Rolling racks (used for restocking and storing clothes)
- Handling various keys to the shop

Experience/Education:
Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
