Job Title:Employee Learning and Development – Assistant (NFWS)
Position Summary/Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to assist the Employee Learning & Development team with the administrative components of ensuring University Admissions Counselors, Admissions Counselors, Student Services Counselors, University Counselors, University Development Counselors, and Student Workers are trained properly.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Sending emails related to new hire training and departmental inquiries.
- Setting up calendar invitations.
- Creating drafts of training materials.
- Organizing Metric Reports and surveys.
- Organizing computer files for New Hire Training.
- Development and correlation of excel reports.
- Making copies and printing materials as needed.
- Securing training locations using room reservation system.
- Working in a team environment.
- Assistance with some elements of New Hire face-to-face training.
- Administrative duties to support training events.
- Other duties assigned by ELD Manager.
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
This position requires the use of a laptop and printer. Programs that will be used are Word, Excel, MS Outlook, Absorb, etc.
Qualifications:
- Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience providing customer service.
- Detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude.
- Self-directed/motivated.
- Computer savvy.
- Organized & responsible.
- Punctual.
- Strong communication both written and verbal.
Experience/Education:

- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
