Job Description

The Office of Medical Research is seeking a reliable and professional student worker to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in administrative and customer service functions, work alongside professionals in a supportive environment, and contribute to important projects that advance medical research.

Responsibilities

  • Support administrative tasks such as procurement card verifications, purchase requisitions, and travel authorizations and reimbursements

  • Assist with scheduling and conference room coordination

  • Coordinating mail and packages

  • Assist with event support and special projects

  • Answer and direct phone calls and general inquiries

Required Qualification

  • Currently enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Dependable and detail-oriented

  • Organization and time management skills

Schedule 

Up to 20 hours per week (flexible schedule based on class availability). 

Availability during standard business hours (Monday - Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm).

Compensation Grade

Student Employee, Level 1

$15.00 per hour
