CLOSING DATE:
Assist with planning, coordinating, and attending campus recruitment events and career fairs.
Support scheduling and logistics for oncampus presentations and information sessions.
Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments.
Coordinate, schedule and lead interviews, including liaising with hiring managers.
Conduct reference checks and document findings.
Assist with talent reviews and reporting.
Support succession planning processes.
Collaborate with HR team members on employee development initiatives.
Support the development of an Engagement Program.
Provide occasional relief reception coverage, greeting visitors and handling phone inquiries.
Offer onsite Workplace & Security support responding to inquiries and directing to appropriate resources.
Contribute to HR team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Work on various research related projects related to Talent.
Ensure all work complies with company policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
Take initiative to learn and develop HR skills and knowledge throughout the internship.
Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a postsecondary program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new systems.
Experience with Workday is an asset.
Professional, discreet, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
You will become well-versed in the Talent and Engagement functions within the greater HR structure of AIMCo. You will begin to understand the inner workings of a robust HR team within AIMCo along with a better understanding of who AIMCo is and how we serve our clients.
