Job Summary:

Students welcome to apply! Must be enrolled in a respiratory program and have completed at least one semester of clinicals. Most student positions are PRN with flexible schedules to work around school. Positions may require rotating to Florence, Ft. Thomas and Edgewood locations. When available, boarded part-time positions may be considered.

Job Description:

Upon physicians' orders administers various modes of therapy and various medical gas therapies to restore normal function.  Initiates cardiopulmonary resuscitation (BLS).

Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

  • Registered student in an AMA and CoARC accredited educational program for Respiratory Therapists.
  • Completed a minimum of one clinical semester. 
  • Holds current limited mandatory certificate to practice Respiratory Therapy in the state where work is being performed.                               

Specialized Knowledge:

  • CPR certified for basic life support
