Schedule: Typically, 8:30a-5p, however occasional weekends, evenings for recruitment events.
SUMMARY:
The role plays a pivotal role in attracting, supporting, and connecting students to the College. This multifaceted position partners with the Admissions team, coordinates transfer and Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) pathways, facilitates career placement services, engages in recruitment and outreach events, and manages the College’s social media presence to enhance visibility, engagement, and brand reputation. A key focus of this role is supporting the success of first-generation college students, helping them navigate the admissions process, academic pathways, and career readiness.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Admissions & Recruitment
- Partner with the Admissions team to coordinate and participate in recruitment events, campus tours, open houses, and information sessions.
- Serve as a liaison for prospective and transfer students, providing guidance on program options, credit transfer, and application steps.
- Assist with application processing, transcript evaluations, and documentation to ensure timely applicant communication.
- Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, transfer partners, and workforce development agencies.
Transfer Coordination
- Supports the Registrar responsible for college’s transfer coordinator.
- Evaluate transfer credits with academic departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Advise prospective transfer students on academic pathways, credit acceptance, and program fit.
- Maintain and update transfer equivalency databases with faculty and academic leadership.
Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) & First-Generation Student Support
- Support the recruitment, enrollment, and retention of HEOP students and first-generation college students in alignment with program guidelines.
- Collaborate with HEOP leadership to ensure eligible students receive comprehensive advising, academic support, and resources.
- Provide outreach and transition support tailored to the unique needs of first-generation learners, including navigating financial aid, understanding academic expectations, and connecting with mentors.
- Conduct outreach to schools and community organizations to identify prospective HEOP and first-generation candidates.
- Maintain HEOP student records for reporting and compliance.
Career Placement Services
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers, healthcare organizations, and alumni for job placement opportunities.
- Provide job search guidance, resume and interview preparation, and career readiness coaching.
- Track graduate employment outcomes in compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with the Student Engagement and Events Manager to organize and facilitate career fairs, networking events, and employer panels.
Social Media & Marketing
- Manage official social media accounts to promote programs, student achievements, and campus events.
- Create engaging, brand-consistent content across multiple platforms.
- Monitor and respond to social media engagement promptly and professionally
- Collaborate across departments to ensure marketing materials are accurate, aligned and available.
Other Duties
- Maintain knowledge of all academic programs, admission criteria, transfer pathways, HEOP services, and student resources.
- Support institutional events and initiatives as needed.
- Foster a student-centered, inclusive, and collaborative environment that reflects the College’s mission and values.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions, transfer coordination, career services, or operations support required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Experience in higher education or healthcare preferred.
- Exceptional communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in social media management and digital content creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media management tools; experience wit
- CRM or student information systems preferred.

PAY RANGE:
$60,500.00 - $70,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
