We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Co-op) to join our growing Products & Technology team in Toronto. This team is passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable solutions to serve over 600,000 members.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the development and maintenance of automated test scripts

  • Execute test cases and document results in a test management tool

  • Assist in identifying manual test cases that are good candidates for automation

  • Work collaboratively in an agile team with QA Engineers, Developers, and Product Owners

  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and team discussions

  • Help configure and manage test data across testing environments

  • Learn and apply Agile testing practices in a real-world setting

  • Contribute to test coverage reviews against business requirements and user stories

  • Assist with troubleshooting and debugging test failures

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field

  • Some exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks is an asset

  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines

  • Aptitude to think out of the box and have good problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills and ability to share and exchange ideas with your team members and management

  • High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Experience in Zephyr/JIRA application is an asset

  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL and database concepts will be an asset

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) is an asset

  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) is an asset

  • Eagerness to constantly learn and update your skills in our cross-platform environment, and you like to share knowledge with others

  • An interest in coding / computer programming

  • Prior experience with coding in JavaScript or Python is a plus but not mandatory

  • Must be enrolled in a co-op program at a recognized post-secondary institution

The expected salary range for this position is $50,700.00 - $70,200.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
