As part of your role, you will be working in the electrical group in the facilities department in Intel Kiryat- Gat.
Your job will include the following:
Working on electrical systems database for Intel's Mega Plant high-voltage infrastructure (161kV-208V), including transformers, switchgear substations, generators, UPS systems, variable speed drives, and distribution boards
Analysing electrical protection systems - performing coordination studies and selectivity analysis to ensure safe and reliable power distribution
Exploring AI automation opportunities - identifying ways to improve engineering workflows using artificial intelligence tools
Working as part of a professional team - collaborating with site electrical engineers and external specialists on various electrical projects
Conducting safety analysis - calculating arc flash hazards and preparing safety instructions for field technicians
Supporting field operations - completing technical and safety certifications and assisting with on-site verifications when needed
You will be trained on EasyPower software - a professional electrical analysis tool used throughout the industry. No prior experience required
BSc or MSc student in Electrical Engineering, with at least two years remaining until graduation.
Availability to work 2–3 days per week at the Kiryat Gat campus.
Strong teamwork and communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
Customer‑oriented, responsible, and capable of working independently.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Experience working with databases and Excel‑based data analysis.
Specialization in Power Systems.
Knowledge of Access or SQL.
Practical Electrical Engineer diploma and a valid Electrical License.
