Description:

Responsible for facilitating Clinical Placements for Undergraduate Programs, Graduate Programs, and Advance Practice Students. Identifying and negotiating clinical placement settings, appropriate preceptors, and other clinical-related learning experiences. Arranges all aspects of the clinical experience including identifying the need for new contracts with potential Educational Institutions and assuring compliance with contractual agreements. Maintains current Affiliation Agreements and Liability Insurance for each Educational Institution Partnership. HealthStream Administrator, to develop, manage, assign, and track completion of educational learning for our institutions. Assists the leader of Clinical Education in the execution of administrative duties, projects, and other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

A: Responsibilities: Responsible for managing all aspects of the Clinical Placement process to ensure effective operation of Clinical Placements. Directly responsible for developing, managing, and assigning education as set forth by Trinity and hospital needs. Directly responsible for the administrative function for Clinical Education.

B. Education: HS Diploma required.

C: Experience: Two years of experience in office/administrative or human resources highly preferred. Experience in collection, organization, analysis and presentation of data/information preferred. Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred.

D. Special Qualifications:

Must have excellent computer skills and be competent in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel. Must exercise an extremely high degree of initiative and judgment in carrying out assigned responsibilities. Must be able to make decisions necessary to perform work assigned, sometimes under stressful conditions. Must be able to work under pressure and still maintain accuracy.

Must possess advanced office administration skills – adept in use of computer equipment as well as other office equipment. Must be proficient in organization and maintaining an efficient filing system. Must be able to organize and prioritize work assignments. Must have ability to effectively express oneself in both oral and written communication. Must be able to project a professional image to the rest of the organization and to the public. A high degree of accuracy is required in all phases of this job. Must be able to type accurately and efficiently.

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
